Sofia Mantega, known as Wind Dancer, is a mutant character from Marvel Comics, primarily associated with the X-Men. Her first appearance was in *New Mutants* Vol. 2 #1 in 2003.
Sofia's mutant ability grants her control over air currents. She can manipulate wind to fly, create gusts of force, and even manipulate sound waves traveling through the air.
Wind Dancer was a key member of the New Mutants squad at Xavier's Institute, and often served as a level-headed counterpoint to the more impulsive members of the team. She had a close relationship with her teammate Julian Keller, code-named Hellion.
